gdrive-cli

A personal command-line tool for Google Drive.

gdrive-cli runs on your own computer. It uploads files and folders you choose to your own Google Drive, sets them to “anyone with the link can view” so you can share the links, lists them, and downloads them back. There is no server: the tool talks directly to the Google Drive API from your machine.

What it can access

It requests a single permission, https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file, which only lets it see and manage the files and folders it created itself. It cannot read any other file in your Drive, your Gmail, or your contacts.

Privacy

See the privacy policy. In short: nothing is collected by the developer; your sign-in token stays on your computer.
